3.Huocheng Lavender

Since June, Tens of thousands of acres of lavender have started blooming one after another, creating a beautiful sea of purple flowers. Huocheng County, located at the same latitude as Provence, France, a world-famous lavender producer, has very similar climatic conditions and soil environment. It is one of the few areas in the world suitable for large-scale cultivation of lavender and is known as the “Hometown of Lavender in China”.

The best time to see lavender is from June to July. After the ornamental period, local villagers will harvest the lavender and send it to processing plants to be made into scented bags, pillows, essential oils, perfume, masks, and other products. This helps to realize the economic value of lavender, making it a rich industry that helps farmers increase their incomes.
