Ancient Town of Mohe Located 7.5 kilometers to the northwest of Yongding Town, Huocheng County, the Ancient Town of Mohe is also called Pochengzi, Jingcheng and Artunlik. The town is nearly square in shape, 300 meters long in east-west direction and 346 meters in south-north direction. The walls are still rising to a height of 3-5 meters on the ground, with a thickness of 2.5 meters.
The town is about 2282 meters in perimeter. There is a gate on each of the east, west, south and north. Inside the town there have been unearthed large quantities of cultural relics of the Tang Dynasty and collected agate beads with engraved Arabian characters, which dated back to the 13th century. It belongs to the remains of the Tand and Yuan Dynasties.
