10 Days Xinjiang Tour to Kashgar and Yili in April

Today, you will take your flight to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang. Upon arrival, we will meet you at the airport, bring you to downtown Urumqi to check in your hotel. Have a good rest.

Morning your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Today we will drive to Kuitun.

Before going there, let's pay a visit to another picturesque place -- Heavenly Lake! It is surrounded by the snow mountains, blooming wildflowers, evergreen pine trees so as to be an ideal resort as you can go there all the year round, enjoy the different view of the lake. Trekking along the lake leisurely or you can explore further to the Maya Mountain by the cable car to enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains and the lake. If you prefer water sports, then boating on the lake will be an excellent idea! Fully connected with the lovely lake by touching the water and appreciating the incredibly beautiful scenery at the same time.

In the afternoon, we will head to Kuitun for overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will meet you at the hotel lobby and continue the journey to Sayram Lake, the another highlight of your northern Xinjiang tour, which is known as the last drop of tears of the Atlantic. Sayram Lake is a fairyland with wonderful natural scenery. its water is very clear and pure. you can stroll on the shore, enjoy the blooming wildflowers and the beautiful grassland around the lake. On the way, you will see the famous Guozigou Bridge, the largest and most important bridge in Xinjiang. There are many beautiful S bends and you can enjoy the scenery of Guozigou valley which is the most beautiful valley in southern Xinjiang en route. After the visit, transfer you to the hotel, have a good rest.

City: walk around Kazanqi folk custom village.

After breakfast, we will driving to Qiaxi Grassland,It is surrounded by mountains, snow-capped pine and cypress, ancient trees, blue sky and clear water, vast grassland, birds and flowers, and fresh air. It is a good place to return to nature and relax!

We will continue head to Xinjiang apricot ditch is located in Xinjiang Yili Xinyuan County Tuergen Township, Xinjiang apricot ditch which is a piece of the 14th century A.D. remains the largest primitive wild apricot forest, concentrated in the north bank of the Gongnais River, covering an area of more than 30,000 acres, the Xinjiang apricot ditch is one of the more concentrated areas of wild apricot forest in Xinjiang. When the spring breeze passes through the Ili River Valley, the apricot blossoms in Turgen Apricot Village will bloom, and the whole valley is covered with pink and white apricot blossoms, as if you are in a fairy tale world. The snow-capped mountains loom in the distance, and the sunlight through the clouds puts a golden veil over the apricot blossoms. You can enjoy the stunning apricot blossom scenery and experience the fun of hiking. Afterwards, drive to Nalati and spend the night

Morning depart from the hotel, we will drive to Nalati to enjoy the scenery of Nalati grassland, Nalati grassland is also known as Gongnaisi grassland, Turkic language means "white yang slope", in the east of Xinyuan Nalati Town, about 110.0 kilometers away from Yili Xinyuan County, located on the northern slope of Nalati Mountain, is a mountainous grassland developed on the Tertiary paleoflood deposit. The Nalati grassland is a subalpine meadow plant area that is one of the four major grasslands in the world and has been a famous pasture since ancient times. The combination of beautiful grassland scenery and local Kazakh folk customs has become a famous tourist resort in Xinjiang. 

Morning depart from the hotel,we will Continuing to visit Nalati grassland,which is vast, like a green blanket spread on the earth, the grass endless, people feel very broad and free.

After visiting,We will drive back to Yining,and to check in the hotel, Take the evening flight to Kashgar.

Driving on the China and Pakistan Highway about 4hrs to enjoy the landscape of Pamirs Plateau. On the way, you can enjoy the magnificent Bulongkol Lake also known as Baisha Mountain (white Sand Mountain) located next to the Karakoram Highway, so it is one of the must stop spot on the way to Karakul lake and Taxkorgan.

Experience beautiful Karakul Lake where the herds of livestock around the lakeside are reflected in lake Kirghiz herdsmen usually settle down and graze their herds. The following day will be spent exploring the stunning landscape surrounding the highway, and we will drive to Taxkorgan County for overnight stay.    

Today we will drive back to Kashgar. On the way you will explore the Stone Fortress. The city is oval in shape and the city walls were built with sun-dried bricks on stone foundation. It is 1285 metres in circumference outside. Over the past few years, new wooden pathways have been constructed to allow tourist to walk these beautiful grasslands, known as the Golden Grassland. From here you can get even better photos of the Stone Fortress.

Today meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby, then we will do full day Kashgar city excursion. we will visit the Idigar Mosque, the largest Mosque in China and the most sacred mosque for the locals to practise their Islamic activities. around 10:30 we have to visit the Old Town when the open ceremony ready to greeting all the tourists with the culture show, further exploration to the special culture and experience the lifestyle with the arrangements of the visiting to the local Uighur Family. Lunch arranged in the local Restaurant.If it falls on a Sunday, pay a visit to the famous Sunday Bazaar that is combined two section. The covered bazaar sells the clothing, nuts, household goods and many things out of your imagination. The outdoor Animal Bazaar is the first bazaar we visit, where the farmers and buyers arriving by donkey cart, truck, bicycle, horseback, motorbike or on foot, with their animals. It's loud, lively and cheerful as they arrive. It is quite interesting to witness their typical methods of bargain.Kashgar city tour ends with the wandering to the bustling Handicraft street,dazzling jewelry, primitive pottery,unique musical instrument, daily resources of the locals. 

Today you will say farewell to Xinjiang, and transfer to the airport to catch your flight back to your sweet home.It has been a great holiday and we look forward to seeing you another China trip.
