Today your flight will touch down in Urumqi. We will meet you at the airport exit with a welcome board. Then a comfortable drive will send you to the local hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own. Rest up and get ready for tomorrow's adventure!
Today we will start our tour from driving 3hrs to visit the oldest Uighur village Tuyoq Village, located in the very center of Flaming Mountain Canyon. It used to be a holy site of Buddhism and Islam. The village consists of four parts: Canyon scenery, Thousand Buddha Caves, Maza tomb and the old buildings of the ancient village.
Then you will pay a visit to Karez Well, a special irrigation system that the locals make full use of the topography of Turpan to draw the underground water to irrigate their farmland ingeniously.
The tour today end up with enjoying the scenery of Jiaohe Ruins with a history of 2,300 years lying between two rivers on a loess plateau atop a cliff of over 30m. It is one of the best preserved ruins of its ancient era in China and was included in the World Heritage List on June 22, 2014.
After visiting, we will drive back to Urumqi for overnight stay.
Today we will drive to the picturesque Heavenly Lake, which is surrounded by the snow mountains, blooming wildflowers and evergreen pine trees. Walking along the lake in the fresh air or you can explore further to the Maya Mountain by the cable car to enjoy the magnificent view of the Mountains.
Continue our trip to Fuhai, after about 5hrs driving, we will arrive at Ulungur Lake, and catch the stunning sunset of it if it's a sunny day. Take a walk barefoot on the soft beach, you can see ducks hide & seek in reeds and seagulls glide freely above the sky.
After the visiting, we will drive to Fuhai County for overnight stay. Have a good rest!
After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel. Then, drive along the mountain road to Kanas Nature Reserve. It is China's only European-like ecological site that has been awarded the title of the "Pure Land of the World" due to its unspoiled natural scenery.
En-route, visit Kanas Lake. Upon arrival, you will change the shuttle bus to the inside of the Reserve to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Then head to the Fish Pavilion and enjoy a panoramic view of Kanas.
Later afternoon, we will back to Jiadengyu district to check into the hotel. Enjoy your dinner and have a good rest!
Arrangements for today make for the experience of a lifetime.
We will first drive to visit the most beautiful Tuwa village -- Hemu village, which is one of the famous Tuwa villages. Arriving at the entrance of Hemu, we still have to change the shuttle bus to the village. Here we would like to suggest you leave your big luggage in our coach and take your must stuff.
Tranquil village, herds of cattle and sheep, as well as warm and hospitable locals. What a beautiful and mysterious place! If you want to experience the life of Tuwa people, they will very welcome you to visit their family.
In the afternoon, we will drive back to Kanas for overnight stay.
Today we will still enjoy the scenery of Kanas Nature Reserve. It is the most beautiful mountain lake you have never seen. The lake takes on different colors following the four seasons of the year, sometimes it's crystal blue, sometimes it's dark green, or even gray.
Afternoon we will head to Burqin to enjoy the sunset of Five-colored Beach. Walking into the colorful Beach, you will feel as if in a dream world. The unique lava landscape consisted of purplish red, vandyke red, yellow and light green mudstone, sandstone and gravel. This is the most beautiful colorful Beach, masterpiece of nature, and miracle of Burqin.
Spend a comfortable night in Burqin and enjoy your breakfast. In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home. Wish you a pleasant journey and hope to see you again in your next China trip!
