This is a unique trip full of diverse things to see and experience. You will start the trip from Urumqi to soak into its vitality and busyness; then, be amazed at the picturesque Heavenly Lake, Sayram Lake and the famous Guozigou Bridge. Lastly, go to experience the folk-style elegance and immersed in the vast grassland and flower sea in Nalati and Xinyuan.

Drive along the famous Guozigou Bridge where there are many beautiful S bends and be attracted by the scenery of Guozigou valley.
As the capital city, Urumqi shows people the development culture and history of Xinjiang. Today, your flight will touch down in this charming city, which is also the first place of your amazing Xinjiang tour. We will meet you at the airport exit with a welcome board, then bring you to downtown Urumqi to check in your hotel.
Morning excursion starts from driving 1.5 hours to the Heavenly Lake. Following is a 40-minutes shuttle bus twisting through the picturesque Tianshan mountains to the edge of the Lake. Either trek around the lake, enjoy the boating cruise, or even take the cable car to explore the Maya Mountain for the incredible view of Bogoda Peak.
Thereafter we will drive to Kuitun for an overnight stay. Have a good rest!
The journey today will begin from the picturesque Sayram Lake, another highlight of your northern Xinjiang tour, which is known as the last drop of tears of the Atlantic. Sayram Lake is a fairyland with wonderful natural scenery. Its water is very clear and pure. You can stroll on the shore, enjoy the blooming wildflowers and the beautiful grassland around the lake.
After a leisure time at Sayram Lake, we will drive along the famous Guozigou Bridge to Yining. Guozigou Bridge is the largest and most important bridge in Xinjiang. There are many beautiful S bends and you can enjoy the scenery of Guozigou valley which is the most beautiful valley in Xinjiang en-route.
Having a wonderful day with blooming Apricot Flowers. Today you will enjoy the tour of the picturesque Tuergen Apricot Valley, located in Xinyuan County, Yili, and close to the border of Kazakhstan. Apricot Valley has for years been attracting intrepid tourists who are eager to catch a glimpse of the majestic sea of pink and white apricot blossom that arrives every spring. This county has the largest apricot forest in Xinjiang and if you want to see it for yourself then you're in luck.
We will spend the night in Xinyuan.
The most beautiful place in Xinjiang is Yili, and the most beautiful scenery in Yili is Naraty Grassland. It is one of the four steppes in the world. The combination of beautiful grassland scenery and local Kazakh Folk Customs has made Naraty known as "the cradle of Kazakh people" since ancient times. In Spring, the sun thawed the ice and melted the snow, and Wild Lilies are in full bloom on the Air Grassland. Walking on the grassland, you can leave some fabulous photos.
Special arrangement for visiting Kazak Family to explore the unique folk customs. What a glorious day this will be! After then, we will drive back to Yining.
After having a delighted breakfast at the hotel, you will say farewell to Yining and catch the flight back to your sweet home. Looking forward to seeing you next time!

Generally speaking End March—End Oct are the best time to visit Xinjiang. From mid April to mid of August is the best time to explore the vast grassland in Yili River valley which borders with Kazakhstan.Mid may to Mid Oct is the best time to explore north Xinjiang of Kanas Nature park. End March to Mid June, Sept and Oct are the perfect season to South Xinjiang for its pleasant weather and sweet fruits. No need to worry about high altitude along the Xinjiang.
