Happy arriving to after a long journey! Now you are at Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang. Xinjiang is an important part of the silk road, since it holds countless relics left by ancient civilizations. Our nice driver and guide will meet you in the airport / Train station. Spending 7 days across here is a great opportunity to explore the exotic culture snd the mysterious history of ancient silk road. Be transferred to the hotel and the rest of the day is for you to relax and prepare for our Natural wonder adventure.
n the morning, enjoy your nice buffet breakfast and then we will head to Fuyun County and at your destination, you will be amazed by the Multicoloured Bay, a marvelous desert scene which located at the western edge of the desert in Kalamah Nature Reserve. You will see a typical Yadan landform with shale of red, yellow, orange, green, green ash, gray and black.
Along the journey, passing by: Huoshaoshan (Burning Mountain), where you will witness a sea of red, comprised of burnt rocks that looks as if they are still burning along the hills, also passing-by the National Wildlife Park which are famous for wildlife such as Mongolian wild ass, wild sheep, wild horses and many other hoofed animals.
Enjoy the fresh air in the town and we will drive about 1.5hrs to Keketuohai National Geological Park. For thousand years, Keketouhai is famous for its abundant resources, beautiful mountain scenery, the long history, the legendary pastureland culture and primitive human culture and many more. It is also known as China's little Yosemite Park, where you can visit the Cocoa Surrey Lake, also commonly known as "Duck Lake" as many wild ducks will congregate on the lake. Then you will see Irene Wood Lake, also known as "Haizi Kou" and explore the tunnel of Mine No 3, which comprises of many types of minerals. Take a tram ride and travel along Irtysh Grand Canyon till you reach Shenzhong Mountain and visit the "Earthquake Museum".
Thereafter, we will drive about 3.5hrs to Burqin for dinner and overnight stay. If time permits, you may stroll along Burqin local night market.
Exciting day, we will go to the paradise for a photographer tour, where the views are beautiful like pictures. By a 3hrs driving to Kanas National Park, you can also see the beautiful fields of Sunflowers, the Grassland of the high mountains, even cute wild animals such as Squirrel on the way. We will arrive in Kanas Jiadengyu around 12pm, Having lunch first and after lunch go to the center of the park, we will visit the Bays (Moon Bay, Dragon Bay, Immortal bay) by the shuttle bus. If time permits, you can walk from one bay to another. When we get off the shuttle bus, we can continue the tour to Guanyu Pavilion for a bird's eye view of Kanas Lake at the top and viewing Kanas from an overall perspective, and optionally you can also enjoy boating on the lake. Next, taking a visit to Tuwa Village to learn about the lifestyle and traditional custom of Tuwa people whom live by herding and hunting. They raise horses, cows and sheep, and live a nomadic life. After that, back to Jiadengyu with the sunset for dinner and overnight stay.
Nothing is greater than getting up with fascinating sunrise around the hotel village, today we are leaving for Hemu entrance by a 2 hours driving, and we have to change the shuttle bus again. Here we would like to suggest you leave your big luggage in our coach and take your valuables and must-have stuff for easy adventure. Hemu --a fairy-land of Xinjiang China, also called the last pure land in the world. and experience the folklore of local Tuwa Pepole. A Mongolian tribe called Tuwa lives on the south bank of the Kanas Lake. Believing in Lamaism, it is a valiant ethic minority with a long history. and take the photo of the beautiful view of the sunset, enjoy the trekking around. what a fresh world !
In the morning you can walk to the platform and view the sunrise, and horse riding there is highly recommended. It is safe and the horseman/woman are very kind and nice. This activity only costs 20usd/person about 40mins to 1hour. You also can walk around in the village or the white birch forest. In the afternoon getting back to Burqin and visit the Five-colored bay en route. It is actually referring to the banks of a river that has desert, oasis and forest on its south side while sand/rock mounds in all shapes formed by years of wind erosion, line the north bank. The mounds have very irregular profiles and although they are mainly red, bands of red, white, black and yellow are also found in them.
Say goodbye to Burqin in the morning and we will be back to Urumqi today with about 10 hrs driving. There are also much to enjoy on the road. Driving along the Gurbantunggut Desert to the Urho Ghost City, also known as Wuerhe Wind City", a unique wind-eroded geological area commonly referred to as "wind city" because of the frequent howling winds. Due to its eeriness, it is also commonly referred to as "Ghost City". It is located northeast of Karamay city whose name comes from the Uyghur language, and means "black oil", referring to the oil fields near the city. You may do some free shopping such as nuts, souvenir etc in the Grand Bazaar when we arrive in Urumqi and enjoy your local Uighur dinner around the bazaar.
