Ruins of Endere Located on the right bank of the Endere River in north of Endere Grazing Land, Minfeng County, the city is round in plane, about 130 mete~ in diameter. The wails are built with mud, of which the southern part are preserved better, still rising to a height of over 6 meters. There is a Stupa standing nearby.
From the city there have ever excavated out a lot of doucuments, including Brahmi Chinese, Kharosthi and Teibetan documents on wooden tablets, textiles, cotton cloth, and wall- paintings, The Tibetan Buddhist stura found here is the earliest one at present. The city may be comparatively age-old and could be in use till the 9th century.
