Itinerary

Day 1Kashgar Arrival

Your adventure begins as your friendly driver and guide greet you at Torugart Port. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic drive to your hotel in Kashgar. After check-in, take some time to relax and soak in the anticipation of the exciting days ahead.

Day 2Epic Karakoram Highway

Fuel up with a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel before setting off around 09:00 for an unforgettable journey along the legendary Karakoram Highway. After an hour's drive, we'll pause at the charming Opal Village, where you can explore the lively bazaar and immerse yourself in the traditional local lifestyle.  

As we continue, prepare to be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of Bulongkol Lake (White Sand Lake) and the dramatic sandstone valleys, framed by the towering Hindu Kush and Himalayan mountain ranges. This highway, one of the world's highest and most thrilling routes, offers vistas that will leave you in awe.  

Upon arrival at the stunning Karakul Lake, take a leisurely trek around its pristine waters, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Here, you'll witness the nomadic Kyrgyz people in their traditional yurts, offering a glimpse into their timeless way of life. In the afternoon, we'll return to Kashgar, where you can reflect on the day's wonders.

Day 3A Cultural Feast in Kashgar

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a full-day exploration of Kashgar's rich heritage. Begin at the iconic Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China and a spiritual heart for the local community. By 10:30, we'll arrive at the Old Town just in time for its vibrant opening ceremony—a colorful cultural show that welcomes visitors with music, dance, and warmth.  

Savor a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before diving into the lively Sunday Bazaar. First, visit the bustling Animal Bazaar, where farmers and traders gather with their livestock, creating a lively spectacle of bargaining and camaraderie. Next, explore the Apak Hoja Tomb, a sacred architectural gem and one of Xinjiang's holiest sites.  

The day concludes with a stroll down Handicraft Street, where dazzling jewelry, handcrafted pottery, and unique musical instruments showcase the artistry of Kashgar. As a special treat, we'll stop at a traditional tea house, where you can sip local brews and soak in the authentic atmosphere.

Day 4Kashgar Departure

Today, your unforgettable Kashgar journey comes to a close. After breakfast, your guide will accompany you to Torugart Port, bidding you farewell with warm wishes. All the hotels we selected are 4 star well-located in the city center with good and proper breakfast for our clients. 3star hotel in some remote towns where 4stars are not avilable. NO SMOKING rooms will be booked for you.

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking End March—End Oct are the best time to visit Xinjiang. From mid April to mid of August is the best time to explore the vast grassland in Yili River valley which borders with Kazakhstan.Mid may to Mid Oct is the best time to explore north Xinjiang of Kanas Nature park. End March to Mid June, Sept and Oct are the perfect season to South Xinjiang for its pleasant weather and sweet fruits. No need to worry about high altitude along the Xinjiang. We will prepare Oxygen bags if required. We offer beneficial Cancellation Policy to our customers.
