Itinerary

Day 1Kashgar Arrival

Your adventure begins as you arrive in Kashgar, where our friendly guide will greet you at the airport with a warm welcome. After settling into your downtown hotel, you'll embark on a captivating journey through the heart of Xinjiang's rich culture.

First, visit the iconic Id Kah Mosque, the largest mosque in China and a spiritual hub for local worshippers. Feel the serenity of this sacred space before stepping into the vibrant Old Town, where winding alleys and traditional Uyghur houses transport you back in time.

Next, explore the Apak Hoja Tomb, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture and one of Xinjiang's holiest sites. The intricate tilework and peaceful gardens make it a photographer's paradise. Your day concludes with a stroll down Handicraft Street, a bustling marketplace where you'll find exquisite jewelry, handcrafted pottery, and unique musical instruments—perfect souvenirs to remember your trip.

Day 2The Majestic Pamirs

Buckle up for a breathtaking drive along the China-Pakistan Highway, where dramatic landscapes unfold at every turn. Marvel at the stunning Bulongkol Lake (White Sand Lake), nestled in the Pamir Plateau at altitudes of 3,500 to 5,000 meters. The snow-capped peaks, some towering over 7,000 meters, create a backdrop so surreal it feels like a painting.

Your next stop is the mesmerizing Karakul Lake, a shimmering alpine gem where the reflections of grazing livestock and Kirghiz herders' yurts dance on the water's surface. Take a deep breath of the crisp mountain air and soak in the tranquility before continuing to Taxkorgan County for a cozy overnight stay.

Day 3Blossoms and Fortresses

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking End March—End Oct are the best time to visit Xinjiang. From mid April to mid of August is the best time to explore the vast grassland in Yili River valley which borders with Kazakhstan.Mid may to Mid Oct is the best time to explore north Xinjiang of Kanas Nature park. End March to Mid June, Sept and Oct are the perfect season to South Xinjiang for its pleasant weather and sweet fruits. No need to worry about high altitude along the Xinjiang. We will prepare Oxygen bags if required. We offer beneficial Cancellation Policy to our customers.
