Yanbulak Cemetery Located beside Yanbulak Village, Hami, the cemetery belongs to the early Iron Age. The confine of the cemetery is quite large. In 1986, totally 76 tombs were cleared and the tombs are mainly shaft tombs are mainly shaft tomb and tomb built on the ground with sundried bricks, in the shapes rectangle and oval. Besides fixed burial, and extended supine position burial were found here. The burial accessories are abundant, including pottery, bronze ware, ironware, stoneware, and decorations of the painted pottery among them are closely related to the Xindian Culture and Siba Culture in Gansu and Qinhai provinces. Now it is listed as a major cultural site under the autonomous region protection.
