The Museum of Aksu Prefecture

The Museum of Aksu Prefecture Located at No.36 Dong (east) Da Jie Street of Aksu City, the Museum was established in 1997. In the exhibiting area of about 400 square meters, a great number of precious historic cultural relics of various phases are on display including unearthed implements of stone, pottery and bronze, manuscripts and fabrics, etc. There are also special displays, such as the exhibition of unearthed cultural relics, the exhibition of the wall paintings of Qiuci, the exhibition of coins, etc. The museum completely and systematically reveals the historic and cultural developing venation and its unique style of the region.
