Shaanxi Mosque


Shaanxi Mosque Located on Minzhu Road, hami, the mosque was built in the 24th year of the Guang Xu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1898) for the soldiers of Hui nationality who were reduced by the Qing army stationed in Hami but unwilling to return home. Covering a ground area of 2,500 square meters, the mosque has a temple gate in front. Behind the temple gate are right and left side rooms. The dooryard is situated at the center of the mosque. There are steles hanging on the dooryard. Ascending step by step, you arrive the praying hall, which has windows with lattices and engraved beams.
