Kucha Museum


Kucha Museum is located in the yard of the site of the government of Kucha County, in the northwest of the old town. Here is also the place where Lin Jilu, a famous CCP member, handled official business when he was the head of the county in 1940s. To recall its contributions to Kucha and reveal his noble characters, the Martyr Lin Jilu’s Memorial was established here in 1976. Today Kucha Museum is set up inside the yard with a total exhibiting area of 1,080 square meters. The main exhibits include the exhibition of unearthed cultural relics, the exhibition of ancient coins and exhibition of ancient coins and exhibition of the folk-customs of nationalities.
